MY BACKGROUND

I discovered photography by chance while working in marketing for a start-up. When my proposed photo shoot was deemed “out of budget,” my boss handed me a camera and said, “Figure it out.” That challenge sparked a passion that has only grown.

With a lifelong love of art, I threw myself into learning—but my first shots were far from perfect. Weekly sessions photographing athletes for a fitness company gave me invaluable experience, and formal training at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography refined my skills. Once I had a solid foundation, I couldn’t stop shooting: portraits, landscapes, weddings, and lifestyle shoots all became a canvas for my creativity.

Today, I bring a unique perspective as both a brand marketing professional and photographer, giving me a deep understanding of what matters for small businesses and how imagery translates into marketing, advertising, and collateral that resonates. I focus on lifestyle photography for small brands, intimate portraits, and weddings, capturing genuine moments, meaningful milestones, and each client’s unique story.

I’m based in Northwest Montana, just outside Glacier National Park, where I live with my husband, Scott, and our dog, Banjo.
